As Executive Chef of the Chateau Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, Adam Korbel oversees all kitchen operations for the 250-room hotel located in the French Quarter.

Through the mentorship of his grandfather, Chef Korbel gained an appreciation for our region's culinary heritage at an early age and has worked in some of New Orleans most popular kitchens including Arnaud's, Versailles, Sun Ray Grill, and Crescent City Brewhouse.

Before joining the Chateau Sonesta Hotel, Chef Korbel worked several years in Charlotte, North Carolina where he was Sous Chef at Omaha Steak House and the Hilton Charlotte City Center.

Chef Korbel has participated in a number of culinary festivals including The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience and The Taste of Charlotte. He looks forward to introducing the Chateau Sonesta's culinary offering to the Woodlands in June.
