Aygline Pechdo, WJ Deutsch & Sons
Aygline Pechdo comes from Southern France close to the sunny wine region of Languedoc Roussillon. Wine became a passion at an early age around her father a great wine connoisseur and family friend Aymé Guibert (from Daumas Gassac).
Aygline earned a Master Degree in International Marketing in 2004 at the Lille Graduate School of Management, France and spent a year writing a thesis on "French Wines facing International Competition". Previous to that Aygline worked in a prestigious wine distributor in Montpellier, France selling wines to upscale restaurants. In 2002 Aygline came to the US for 16 months working at Millissime, Ltd. a PR and Marketing Services company looking after Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, the Beaujolais Wine Bureau (UIVB) and Sieurs D'Arques winery.
Aygline came back to the US in 2004 and has been working at WJ Deutsch & Sons as a Brand Manager responsible for the French portfolio including the number one French brand in the US: Georges Duboeuf. She also looks after other great names in the Industry: André Lurton from Bordeaux, Pierre Sparr from Alsace, J. Vidal Fleury from the Rhone Valley and Sauvion from the Loire.
Aygline is single and leaves in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
