Daughter of an international diplomat, Suzay spent her young life traveling and living in a variety of countries and world cities. After long periods in Japan and Korea, Suzay and family eventually settled in Los Angeles. But before long she would spend her university years studying in Germany, France, Mexico, and China contributing to her vast knowledge to spoken language and culture. Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German and Italian skills help Suzay bring scope and perspective to all of her endeavors.
Early in her career Suzay moved from the health and beauty field to a rewarding position managing the famous mezzotint master artist, Gatja Rothe. Afterwards she opened her own award wining restaurant Mondu Suzay specializing in dumplings and salad. The menu included a potato salad officially recognized by Orange County Weekly as the best in Orange County, CA.
